Surge Ratings and Voltages

Overvoltage triggers over 36V input voltages.

Undervoltage triggers under 8V input voltages.

Load dump withstand pulses of +/- 100V for 400ms (single pulse).

1. If the supply voltage on the RED wire is 24VDC, can you use 12VDC on the white wire to trigger ignition - Yes

2. If the supply voltage on the RED wire is 24VDC, can you use 24VDC on the white Ignition wire to trigger ignition - Yes

3. And the same in reverse… if 12VDCon the red can they use 12or 24VDC on the White Ignition wire - Yes but not recommended

4. What is the peak surge on the Red or White wire that the camera can take; and for how long (milliseconds. Etc.) - X2 has reverse polarity, overvoltage, undervoltage, load dump and cold crank protections. Active protection shuts off camera power supply, if one of the conditions above appears, for as long as this condition is present.
