Al 8/22/23 1. I finished the setup in the AC as installed o FYI - I did connect Ignition and POWER to the same connection…so I am not providing power on the RED at ignition OFF

2. I set the update interval to 6 min (for demo); the ignition OFF o IRIS is not changing after 6 min (killed power and IRIS stays online until I refresh the browser) 3. so now Als DVR is green with two green monitored Channels (for two cameras connected) o I disconnected 1 camera and the created IRIS ALERT but it did not send any email for the disconnected camera… o After restarting with the cameras disconnected, I had to refresh IRIS to see it off line o And had to refresh AC in order to see I camera unplugged.

4. So far I cannot see how to perform a LIVE Look

Hi Al,

1. Iris stays online until the timeouts kick in, the last status that it received is ‘online’. 2. This new DVR does not connect every {insert interval here}, it keeps an open connection, therefore the connection interval is irrelevant in the new setup. The DVR also does not send an ignition off signal (the use-case here is 24hr operation). 3. See 2 about the ignition off. The AC has never refreshed a status page (you always had to refresh it by hand – what is the NEW unexpected behavior?) 4. It’s in the works, will come back as soon as it’s implemented. This DVR is intended to be used in conjunction with an AI camera, which handles the requests, we haven’t (yet) implemented the standalone mode.
