Active Geofences

'Active Geofences' will be found in 'Reports' page, under 'Standard Reports':

• With this feature users are able to see live which vehicle/driver violates geofences.

This is how it works:

• User creates inside/outside geofences alerts in Fleet Manager/Vehicle/ Alerts and when these alerts are triggered, the notifications will appear in 'Active geofences' (it is not needed to create new alerts if clients already have them).
• For each notification user can see how much time the vehicle stays inside/outside the perimeter, duration is incrementing live.
• When a geofence violation is closed, it will automatically be removed from the list - the lists refreshes every 2 minutes.

For example: If the vehicle has an inside geofence type, and the vehicle enter in that perimeter, it will trigger an inside geofence notification. When vehicle will exit from that perimeter, it will not create automatically an 'Outside geofence' -> the inside notification will simply be removed from the list.

• The geofences list is ordered by Duration – meaning how much time a vehicle stayed within/outside the geofence.
• All geofences longer than 7 days will expire and will be removed from the list.

Important! Do not create geofences over other geofences for the same vehicle.
