Linux configuration
Install Kubuntu 24.x
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo aptinstall fastboot
sudo apt install sshpass
Install firmware
sudo apt install rsync
bash update_fw.sh IdriveAI.tmp.tar.gz
Factory Tool steps (beta)
Plug in the camera and power on, !!!No Ignition!!!
Update MCU & OS4 (if needed)
Click Console Ikon
- cd Documents/linux/mcu_os4_update(enter/return)
- type ./update.sh (enter/return)
- Click OK & wait for the beep
- Click OK again
- Verify the camera boots
Factory Tool
Click on the Factory Tool Ikon
- Enter the password “ubuntu”
- User: nexus account: you@idrive.ai
- PW: nexus password
- click on Final Test
Power on the camera with the USB cable plugged in
Click Record and wait for 3 beeps
