Teal SIM Replacement Process
If you do not set the correct APN the camera will pass all tests and connect to the cellular network but will not communicate. Set the APN first thing!
1) Receive the RMA in Admincenter
- In AdminCenter.idriveglobal.com Select Support > Devices
- Search for the device and change
- -RMA field to “In Factory - Not Repaired”
- -HW Field add “Teal SIM” Issue
- -Click on the serial number and then the EDIT Tab and change the “SIM Provider” to the desired setting (TEAL) Do This before running the camera through Factory Tool. If this is not set the SIM will show on the network but will not communicate because it will have the incorrect APN for TEAL SIMS
- -Peal the label on the camera so you do not forget to replace it (Different SIM Number)
2) Select a Teal SIM and install it in the camera and secure with Kapton tape
3) Enable the Teal SIM https://customer.teal.global/
- - Click on OneChip eUICCs at the top
- -Enter the eiD number (on the card) in the “Search EID” box in the upper right
- -All the way to the right (use slider) click in the “I” with a circle around it
- -Click on Activate
- - Enter customer in Device Group (If known) and click update
- - Click on “Network Plan” click on “Terminate Plan”
- -Then select the correct plan in the “Change Plan” Pull-down (to get the pull-down click General information and then back to network plan. Browser issue)
- US select “United States – AT&T Native (5G Enabled)”
- Canada select “Rodgers/Bell/Telus US”
- Mexico select “
- Panama select “

- Click on Update
4) Deactivate the Podsystems SIM (Suspend or Terminate?)
- -login to https://podiotsuite.com/start
- -Search for the SIM number Subscriptions > All Subscriptions
- -Click the serial number and click on TERMINATE
5) Process the Camera through Factory Tool and in phase two – Verify the “Cloud” is shown on the display – this confirms the correct APN
