Idrive X1 Overview

The Idrive X1 is a dual video event recorder that captures triggered events such as hard braking, swerving, quick acceleration, accidents and more. The purpose of the Idrive X1 is to change the way a driver drives by capturing events and responding to them accordingly. The Idrive X1 will significantly cut fleet costs by reducing frequency of accidents, claim litigation, fuel costs, vehicle wear & tear and more.

High Definition Video

The Video Event Triggered system captures high definition videos both of the front and interior of the vehicle, with dual ultra wide angle lenses the widest range in the industry (168˚ internal/ 168˚ external).

Multiple Event Triggers

The Idrive X1 can detect: aggressive driving behavior (hard braking, swerving, excessive acceleration, etc), accidents and more. Each Idrive X1 can be wired to trigger events such as door open, ignition on, ambulance light bar, etc. All triggers cause the Idrive X1 to save critical audio and video footage seconds before and after the triggered event.

GPS

The Idrive X1 comes equipped with passive GPS. The GPS receiver records location coordinates and speed information during an event or at a specific time interval. GPS information, once downloaded to Idrive base station, can be sorted by driver, vehicle, etc.

WiFi Transfer

The Idrive X1 downloads via wireless to a customer’s Idrive Base Station. Idrive’s wireless download ensures the ultimate security of captured events.

Internal standard WiFi 802.11b/g compatible with any Wireless Network.

No Monthly Fees

Because Idrive utilizes wireless download, there are no required monthly fees. Idrive does provide various services for a monthly fee but they all remain optional services.

Night Vision

The Idrive X1 automatically switches to infrared night vision to record videos as night.

Large Storage Capacity

Idrive X1 videos are stored on a 4GB internal memory along with other information like G-Force values, GPS coordinates, data, time and other information. Over 250 events can be stored without the need for download.

Panic Button

An Idrive Panic Button comes with each Idrive X1 camera. The wire panic button can be mounted on the dash, under the seat etc. If pressed by the driver an event will be triggered and stored.

USB Download

An Idrive USB flash can be used to safely download the data from an Idrive X1 camera in cases where there is no wireless network or in any emergency situation. For security reasons only Idrive USB flash drives can be used to remove data from camera.

Idrive D4 Overview

The Idrive D4 provides a continuous recording solution that can capture video from inside or outside a fleet vehicle. The Idrive D4 records on up to 4 cameras that can be chosen by the customer from the following options: Metal Dome, Mini Metal Dome, Waterproof Reverse, and Side mount Camera. The Idrive D4 includes a 500GB hard drive which can captures 500 hours of continuous recording. The system can be used in conjunction with the Idrive X1 system and requires no additional infrastructure.

Continuous Recording

The Idrive D4 captures 500 hours of video/audio and stores it onto an internal hard drive that can be removed and reviewed when needed.

Plug and Play

The Idrive D4 allows for a one plug solution between the camera and the D4 system. Our special one plug solution allows for a quick, secure and hassle free installation of cameras.

Camera Options

Various types of cameras can be installed with the system. Four choices are given with each D4 unit: Metal Dome Camera, Mini Metal Dome Camera, Waterproof Reverse Camera, and Waterproof Side mount Camera. Other cameras are available for an additional fee.

Idrive Monitor

Idrive Monitor for your D4 unit is essential to the installation process in order to have the ability to change unit settings etc. and to check on correct placement of cameras. The monitor can also be used to view live video of all cameras so drivers know what is going on around the vehicle.

GPS receiver provides videos with GPS coordinates that automatically synchronizes along with video data.

Idrive Base Station WiFi Network

Idrive’s camera technology utilizes wireless networks. When compared to cellular download wireless networks are a more secure and inexpensive way to download data. All events are securely encrypted to protect our customer’s confidential data.

All Idrive cameras are paired to a Base Station at a site and will download to that Base Station when in range. Idrive’s standard wireless network range for downloading events from a vehicle is 100 yards (with no obstruction). However customers with larger lots may opt to have multiple access points in order to increase their wireless downloading range.

Idrive provides optional video review services for its customers if elected. Idrive staffs a team of trained individuals who monitor customer’s videos for risky behavior, distracted driving, accidents, etc. Reports are then sent to a designated list of individuals that the customer provides. With these reports customers will be aware of changes/modifications that need to occur in their fleet before an accident may occur.

Idrive’s products currently have “passive” GPS available in their cameras systems. “Passive” GPS allows customers to view GPS events once a vehicle’s events are downloaded to the Idrive Base Station.

How the Idrive VEDR system works:

Record

Install Idrive VEDR camera in vehicle. Camera captures high definition video, both of the front and the interior of the vehicle. Events are captured when an event is triggered. Events are triggered by: panic button, accidents, aggressive driving behavior, door open events, etc. Information such as g-force values, GPS coordinates, data, and time are stored along with the event.

We can review your videos for you. Idrive is offering an optional daily monitoring service of all triggered events, including weekly management reports. Video Review services allows the fleet owner or manager the luxury of having their vehicles watched for them. Idrive uses in-house video review operators that are trained to locate a series of violations including but not limited to: traffic violation, poor lane selection, unsafe speed, not scanning roadway, not scanning intersection, smoking, driver unbelted, hard braking and more.

Idrive makes it easy for fleet risk and safety managers to respond to video events. Interactive reports and more are available on the Base Station Server or online using the Idrive Global Center. These tools give a clear picture of what's really happening on the road. The Idrive D4 provides a continuous recording solution that can capture video from inside or outside a fleet vehicle. The Idrive D4 records on up to 4 cameras that can be chosen by the customer from the following options: Metal Dome, Mini Metal Dome, Waterproof Reverse, and Side mount Camera. The Idrive D4 includes a 500GB hard drive which can captures 500 hours of continuous recording. The system can be used in conjunction with the Idrive X1 system and requires no additional infrastructure.

Idrive DVR System How it works

Installing the Idrive D4 unit into your vehicle allows continuous recording while your vehicle is on duty. The 500GB hard drive can capture up to 500 hours of video before needing to be taken out and uploaded. Additional hard drive cradles can be purchased so that full hard drives can be swapped out with minimal downtime.

Once the hard drive is removed from the cradle it can be uploaded to the Idrive Base Station for review. If you have an Idrive X1 installed you can use events triggered on this camera as a reference point for reviewing your video taken from the D4 unit.

Smaller clips can be clipped and stored in the Idrive Control Center software for your records.

High Definition Video

The Video Event Triggered system captures high definition videos both of the front and interior of the vehicle, with dual ultra wide angle lenses the widest range in the industry (168˚ internal/ 168˚ external).

Multiple Event Triggers

The Idrive X1 can detect: aggressive driving behavior (hard braking, swerving, excessive acceleration, etc), accidents and more. Each Idrive X1 can be wired to trigger events such as door open, ignition on, ambulance light bar, etc. All triggers cause the Idrive X1 to save critical audio and video footage seconds before and after the triggered event.

GPS

The Idrive X1 comes equipped with passive GPS. The GPS receiver records location coordinates and speed information during an event or at a specific time interval. GPS information, once downloaded to Idrive base station, can be sorted by driver, vehicle, etc.

WiFi Transfer

The Idrive X1 downloads via wireless to a customer’s Idrive Base Station. Idrive’s wireless download ensures the ultimate security of captured events.

Internal standard WiFi 802.11b/g compatible with any Wireless Network.

No Monthly Fees

Because Idrive utilizes wireless download, there are no required monthly fees. We do provide various services for a monthly fee but they all remain optional services.

Night Vision

The Idrive X1 automatically switches to infrared night vision to record videos as night.

Large Storage Capacity

Idrive X1 videos are stored on a 4GB internal memory along with other information like G-Force values, GPS coordinates, data, time and other information. Over 250 events can be stored without the need for download.

Panic Button

An Idrive Panic Button comes with each Idrive X1 camera. The wire panic button can be mounted on the dash, under the seat etc. If pressed by driver in an event will be triggered and stored.

USB Download

An Idrive USB flash can be used to safely download the data from an Idrive X1 camera in cases where there is no wireless network or in any emergency situation. For security reasons only Idrive USB flash drives can be used to remove data from camera.
