The serial number reflects the version of the camera so here is my proposed structure: Serial number structure: A 01A11112345 (same length as previous cameras) (Made at ? for North America) E 02A11112345 (same length as previous cameras) (Made at ? for EMEA etc)

E^01^A^11^12345^ First 1 Letter is either A=North America or E = EMEA etc. Next 2 digits are the manufacturer (01 = EMLinQ, 02 = Comet?) 03, 04, 05 etc = Other Next 1 letter product type (A for AI) “A” is hex so we should be able to use it

Next 2 digits are the revision number (at time of manufacture) 11 = Original configuration 12 = ECO 13 = ECO 14 = ECO etc Last 6 digits are the individual camera serial number
