Description
The Idrive Transfer Point is used to provide WiFi coverage for remote parking areas to facilitate download of Idrive X1 devices. The downloads are transferred to the Idrive Base Station over a virtual private network (VPN).

Options
The basic Transfer Point consists of a Weatherproof enclosure containing VPN Router with a built in WiFi Access point. For additional Wifi coverage the Transfer point can accomodate up to two more Wifi access points

=Installation
Installing your Terminal Point.
Once it is mounted you'll need to run power to your Terminal Point. There is a through wall fitting in the bottom of the Terminal Point on the center. This is set up so you can run three wire flexible conduit for power to your Terminal Point. Once you have connected the flexible conduit to the Terminal Point and you have the wiring in the in. You will then find at the bottom of the Terminal Point a terminal block. Covered by a clear plastic shield remove the two screws securing the shield. Connect the wires to the terminal block using supplied connectors. Starting left to right (neutral wire, ground wire, hot wire) replace shield cover.
Connecting Terminal Point to Internet. Bring your ethernet cable through one of the through wall fittings bottom right side of Terminal Point. Plug this in to the PeO directly across from the cable marked PeO.
Bringing in the connections from the remote antennas through the through wall fittings at the bottom left side of the Terminal Point.
They will need Shielded RJ-45 connectors that we supplied. You will plug the Shielded RJ-45 connectors into the PeO Opposite LAN 4 and 5.

Mounting
The Transfer Point may be mounted to the side of a building, pole or other structure. It should be mounted at a height which allows for line of site to the vehicles which are to be downloaded. (Typically 12 - 20 feet off of the ground)
There are four mounting holes two on either side of the Terminal Point. That you can use to strew or bolted it securely to a flat surface.
